Welcome to Nature’s

A personal journey back to roots, rituals, and quiet remedies

Hello, I am Lisa

By day, I’m deep in the world of process engineering—surrounded by drawings, numbers, and machines that hum with precision. But there’s another part of me, quieter and softer, that’s always been there beneath the surface. It’s the part that listens closely to the whispers of the earth, that remembers old stories, and that holds a steady faith in the gentle power of the plants and herbs that grow all around us.

I was born in the south of Brazil, into a family of strong women who lived with their feet firmly planted in the soil and their hands busy with healing. Back home, being born at home wasn’t unusual. I was cradled by the same hands that later brewed “garrafadas”—simple, time-honoured herbal mixtures passed down from midwives, grandmothers, and local herbalists. These weren’t magical potions or secret spells. They were everyday acts of care, recipes crafted with love, shared by those who lived close to the land and trusted in its gifts.

Growing up, I heard stories of coughs soothed, fevers cooled, and aches eased with nothing more than what nature offered. Even the deeper wounds (the ones the heart carries) found comfort in these humble remedies. That kind of wisdom, passed gently from one generation to the next, doesn’t fade away. It lingers, even when you spend your days inside a world of software and machines.

This blog is my way of reconnecting with those roots. Here, I want to share simple, natural remedies that’ve helped me stay steady when I’ve needed grounding, comfort, or healing. I won’t promise miracles or quick fixes; I’ll offer honest, gentle ways to support your body and spirit. I didn’t start this space because I have all the answers. I started it because I believe in balance—the balance between science and sage tea, between modern medicine and the quiet healing found in a warm cup, a long walk, or a heartfelt conversation.

I’m grateful to doctors and hospitals and all they do to save lives. But I also know that sometimes, what we need most is a little kindness from the earth and ourselves. And I want to say this clearly: natural doesn’t always mean harmless. Herbs hold great power. They can soothe and heal, but they can also harm if we don’t treat them with respect.

Curiosity, care, and moderation are the keys. Above all, I believe healing begins with connection. Connection to ourselves, to nature, and each other. So, if you feel this call, this gentle pull toward a more grounded way of living, I hope you’ll join me here. Share your stories, your grandmother’s recipes, and your favourite calming teas.

Let’s learn and grow together, building a space where health isn’t a trend but a return to something timeless and true. This feels like the start of something simple, something meaningful. And I’m so grateful you’re here.

With warmth,
Lisa
